Cafe Makani is a standard Malabar cafe that aims to grow like Starbucks with a hinge of Malabar taste.
Challenge
With a very locally rooted concept but to attract its audience around the globe, Cafe Makani needed an elegant brand appeal that welcomes anyone into the cafe but still gives the best taste of local Malabar flavors. We crossed this hurdle with a fusion concept in branding, experimenting with new and rare color palettes and classy designs with illustrations.
Result
Cafe Makani stands out like a foreign brand, but it serves the best of Malabar Taste.
